Collaborating for our Community

Hi All,

I am writing to share some great news… DAISI has been developing and growing at a fast pace over the previous 12 months.

We are developing our NDIS services and are so excited with how it is going. We are working in our communities to support people to get the outcomes they need from their NDIS supports. We are providing Support Coordination, NDIS information, Plan Management and also working with sole traders to develop their practice.

In doing all of this we now have a great new Partner, The Family Centre Australia. I have included the media release about our partnership below for you all to read. We are two values-based community organisations that are working closely together; I am so happy about the opportunities we are developing together and will keep you posted.

We are already going to share a new site at Varsity Lakes in South East Queensland and are looking forward to the journey ahead.

Yours, Joanne

The Family Centre and DAISI – Collaborating for our Community

The Family Centre (TFC) and DAISI have agreed to a partnership that will use our combined strengths and create stronger and more sustainable organisations.  We have a shared vision, values and purpose, and a clear focus on delivering high quality child, youth, family, aged and disability services.

Our partnership allows a more integrated and responsive approach to working with our customers across the Far North Coast and the Gold Coast regions. Our joint strategy will share resources to grow, strengthen our organisational systems, create new opportunities for our people and most importantly; increase our social impact.

Message from our Directors

“DAISI have carefully considered partnering with other organisations for some time. The Family Centre met all our selection criteria and we are very confident that we’ll be better together. Our organisation is approaching the partnership with the best interests of our community at heart and a commitment to deliver great outcomes for the people and communities we serve, now and into the future” said Trent Rees, Secretary DAISI.

“We’re delighted that DAISI have chosen to unite with TFC and are excited to be working with a highly respected organisation that shares our values and works closely with their community. This is in many ways a perfect match of organisations and together we will add value to our communities and increase our social impact” said Pam Mitchell, Chairperson TFC.
