Am I eligible?
Am I eligible and what is my pathway?
To be eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) you must have a permanent disability that significantly affects your ability to take part in everyday life. Your visa, citizenship and residency status, how old you are and the support you currently receive also affect your eligibility and pathway to accessing the NDIS.
Most people eligible for an NDIS funded support plan will enter the Scheme through the Standard Pathway. For others, for example those who experience impairment due to a mental health issue or children under 7 years old, different pathways are available.
